When you collect a hire trailer we will assist you to hitch up your chosen hire trailer. All our hire trailers are fully serviced and hire trailers are supplied with locking hitches and wheel clamps are available on request in advance.

When you collect a hire trailer we will assist you to hitch up your chosen hire trailer. All our hire trailers are fully serviced and hire trailers are supplied with locking hitches and wheel clamps are available on request in advance.

Customers collecting a hire trailer should ensure they have a 7 pin UK socket and a 50mm ball. Customers with a 13 pin European socket will need to provide an adapter to fit their hire trailer (often a 7 pin adapter is supplied on European vichcles), Southern Trailers do stock adapters in our trailer parts department.

We do offer customers advice on the type of hire trailer to suit their needs, however more information can be found from the National Towing and Trailer Association.
